Sinceramente...

Holy no time!!

Man this week went by fast. I can’t believe K is 14 already!! Have fun teaching her how to drive!! That’s sweet that you guys got to go to the new temple. I heard President Monson is going to dedicate it? Is that true? Will you guys go to the dedication? It’s weird to think that this month is almost over... this year has just flown by and we still have so much work to do!

So this week was kind of bittersweet. First off, Awas baptized and she is pretty awesome! She is from Sal but has been here in Praia visiting her family. We’ve been working with her family and she had been sitting with us and had come to church a couple times. So one day we decided to invite her to be baptized, and she accepted! We started teaching here and then found out that she had delayed her trip back to Sal just so that she could get baptized here where her family lives! So we got her all ready and she was baptized and confirmed this weekend. She goes back to Sal this week though so we’ve got to make sure the branch and the missionaries in Sal find her and get her integrated there.

Also, V and N were married on Friday!!! I’ve been working with this family since my first week here in Praia and after a lot of work and many miracles they were finally married!  They came to church again yesterday and are preparing to be baptized this week.

Not too much else happened this week though. There were two other marriages in the zone this weekend so we are bringing more families into the gospel. This is the last week of the transfer and we are hoping to finish strong and enter the next one on a high note. We’ve got a lot of work to do in order to make sure we don’t stop baptizing next transfer so we are going to have to keep finding new investigators. Things are going to be awesome and I really hope I get to stay here for at least one more transfer! Have a good week and enjoy the end of volleyball!!
