HEY!
The week is over. It was pretty good. The
sisters are all moved in but they still don’t have beds because the boat hasn’t
come yet. Something to do with all the rain and the hurricane that formed on
the west coast of the islands. They are super excited to be here though and
they are going to be a huge help to our little branch. There are now six
missionaries here, for the next two weeks. We have two pre-MTC missionaries
that are just waiting for their visas. They will leave before October 10. We all
basically just share the city of Sal Rei but there is one area that only the
elders go into, Barraka. Our week was a little crazy with a lot of extra things
to do but everything seemed to just work out perfectly and things are slowly
going back to normal.
Frequency in church shot through the roof with
63 people showing up this week! We almost don’t have enough chairs right now
but it’s just going to keep growing. Hopefully they can get us some chairs
fast. Lots of teaching and training to help our investigators and the members
so we have been pretty busy. President and Sister Oliveira were here this
weekend as well and we learned a lot from them. They were in church on Sunday
and the members were really excited.
Other than that, life’s still good. Elder Young
is awesome and has gotten the hang of things really fast. It will be easier when it’s
just the two of us but for now we are just going to try and get as much work
done as possible with the extra help. I love you all and I hope you have a good
week!
