What's up!?!
Well... our week was pretty good. We taught a
lot and the members are helping out a ton. Our baptism was kiddnapped by his
aunt from America and is currently at a party out of town for the next two
weeks. So unfortunately he is going to have to wait until he gets back. It's
Carnival time and unfortunately that means there are a lot of parties for the
next couple weeks. The actual day of Carnival is gonna be scary but I don't
know how bad it gets here in Fogo. Also there was a murder at the airport
Saturday night so the weekend was a bit slow but other than that we had a
really good week.
Things are going really well right now and we
are still finding a ton of prepared people. I honestly don't know where they
are all coming from but I am very grateful and I know that Heavenly Father is
blessing us for our work. That couple that we found a couple weeks ago is going
to be baptized this weekend and they are pretty excited. If everything works
out, the guy will be able to baptize his sister at the end of the month. They
are amazing though and there is honestly no way that we could have found a
family more prepared on our own. My testimony has really grown that it isn't us
that is doing this work. Unless Heavenly Father allows you to bring people unto
Christ, it just doesn't happen. I feel very blessed to be allowed to work with
and help so many amazing people. This week is going to be awesome!
Other than that though, not to much exciting
happened here. We taught a lot and had some really amazing lessons but nothing
really exciting happened. We are gonna have zone conference tomorrow and it
should be a good one. It blows my mind how fast the time is going and how
little time I have left here. My mission is passing by way too fast! The
"cool" season seems to be coming to an end as the days are getting a
lot hotter. It's still nice and cool at night though so that's good. Hope
